MCAB Qualifying StylesThe Dixie Cup is a qualifying event for the Masters Championship of Amateur Brewing (MCAB). The top-ranked beer in each MCAB qualifying style (QS) will be invited to compete in the championship finals, to be held in 2019. In order to maintain the Dixie Cup tradition of awarding more medals than the major BJCP categories, thus splitting some of the larger BJCP categories such as American Ale, some of the MCAB QSs are split across multiple medal categories. In these instances, the first-place winner in each split category will qualify for the MCAB championship finals. |
